To my family I am “Kelsey Dog” don’t ask why, I couldn’t tell you. To my friends, I am just Kelsey. I am more often smiling than not. I hail from just outside of the city of Denver, Colorado, but I grew up spending weekends exploring the majestic Rocky Mountains with my family. We take every opportunity we can to spend time outside, whether it is with snowshoes strapped to our feet, a climbing helmet on our heads, or in a tent under the Milky Way, we take full advantage of the glorious state we live in.
After getting my degree in Studio Art with an emphasis in photography and a minor in business marketing, I dove right into working as a full-time photographer, videographer and graphic designer for a humanitarian organization. I also still make as much time as I can for the outdoors, leading backpacking trips for my friends and teaching photography courses for REI.
I’ve traveled to 28 countries over 5 continents as a professional photographer, feeling most fulfilled connecting with new people and sharing their stories of heartbreak and inspirational joy through photos and the occasional blog.
As I continue to grow in my career eight years in I still have the desire to travel and experience all aspects of the world, and think I would really enjoy working with an outdoors company or non-profit.
